Deposit / Payment Policy: Valid Credit Card details are required to guarantee the booking. Please note that for all bookings, the hotel requires the payment of all applicable accommodation charges prior to or at check-in, and payment will be processed according to the respective rate plan booked. Photo ID must be supplied.  A credit card pre-authorisation of $100 per night will be processed upon arrival as a guarantee for any incidental charges incurred. Please be advised that Mastercard & Visa Debit card holders must provide a $300 pre-authorisation.

All Visa and Mastercard incur a 1.5% surcharge whilst American Express, Diners Club and Union Pay cards attract a 2.5% surcharge.
 
The Melbourne Hotel has a zero-tolerance policy on antisocial behaviour or behaviour that is deemed to be disruptive to other guests. This behaviour may be defined as:

•                 Any situation where the maximum number of guests allowed per room or suite is exceeded
•                 Any situation where the noise level from a guest room or suite is deemed too high thereby disturbing other hotel guests.
•                 Any situation whereby excessive traffic to/from the guest room or suite is identified
•                 Any situation where it is deemed that intoxication is occurring or that excessive alcohol is present
 
In the event that any guest is identified as having a party or displaying antisocial behaviour, the hotel reserves the right to immediately request all occupants of the room or suite up to, and including, the guest who has registered for the guest room or suite to vacate the premises. In the event that an eviction does occur, the registered guest will be charged for that night’s accommodation and for any expense resulting from additional cleaning, replacement of any furniture/fixture/fitting breakage, as well as for any required repairs.
 
The Melbourne Hotel Membership is non-transferable and is only valid for the individual named on the membership account. The name provided at the time of membership enrolment and booking confirmation is considered final and non-transferable. Members are responsible for ensuring that the name on the booking matches the name on the member account. Once a booking is confirmed, no changes to the primary guest's name will be allowed. On rare occasions where a member’s booking requires modification, kindly note that additional charges beyond rate changes may apply.
